Educator, Coach, Athletic Director
Bill Legge came to William Penn High School as a Physical Education teacher in 1981 and later a Driver’s Education instructor. He served as Head Baseball and Football coach at Glasgow for several years followed by six years as an assistant football coach at Christiana.He joined the football coaching staff at William Penn in 1989 through 2000 joining Bruce Reynolds and Jack Holloway in retirement from coaching football at that time. In addition, Bill served as assistant athletic director with Jack Holloway for approximately ten years.Bill then left his mark as the successor to Jack as Athletic Director for ten years keeping the standards of excellence of his predecessors Bill Cole and Jack Holloway in place.
